A Visit to the Copenhagen Atelier: In Conversation with Lars Kristensen
Written by — MAAN Editorial

"Good furniture should be remembered by the body before it's remembered by the eye," Lars says of his design philosophy. In his studio on the outskirts of Copenhagen, unfinished chair frames and fabric samples are scattered everywhere.
He believes Nordic design endures because it always puts everyday use before form — every angle, every inch of fill has to pass the test of real life first.
This visit also led to a final tweak in the Yuefeng Sofa's armrest curve — from the original square angle to the gently tapered line it has today.
